The awards are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts, the judging is a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.

From a transparency perspective, we may video aspects of the judging session to show on the evening and to give entrants an insight into why a winning entry was chosen.


Awards Trust Mark

The Awards Trust Mark scheme is a not-for-profit accreditation programme run by The Independent Awards Standards Council with the goal of, as the name suggests, enhancing trust between those entering awards schemes, and the organisations running them.

The scheme is already raising standards in the industry, and we would encourage everyone entering awards to encourage organisers to commit to the code of conduct and thus earn an Awards Trust Mark.

He has been a Judge for UK Search Awards, European Search Awards and MENA Search Awards since 2016. He's a regular speaker of industry events, podcasts and meet-ups. As an active member of the SEO Community, he is authoring on organic search and digital marketing. Plus, he offers in-company SEO trainings and occasionally gives lectures on SEO at universities.

Peter has been actively involved in the Northern agency scene for nearly 20 years, working for some of the biggest agencies in the North including MediaVest (now part of Dentsu Aegis Group), Brilliant Media, Amaze, MediaCom and more recently as Managing Partner of WPP stablemate Wavemaker , supporting clients ranging from Expedia, GE, Thomas Cook, Lexus, DFS through to comparison behemoths such as Compare the Market.

Peter has also been hugely active in the Manchester digital scene having started the original Manchester SEO conference, and more recently as co-founders of both SasCon and Bidex.

In his current role, Peter leads Precision Marketing across the business, delivering data-centric strategies for clients across Programmatic, Paid Search/Social, SEO, Data Consultancy and Analytics – ensuring these are integrated completely into the wider channel offerings within the Wavemaker product.

Dennis Yu is the Chief Executive Officer of BlitzMetrics, a digital marketing company which partners with schools to train young adults. Dennis’ mission is to provide education at no cost to students.

Dennis’s program centers around mentorship, helping students grow their expertise in digital marketing to drive leads and sales by managing ad campaigns for enterprise clients like The Golden State Warriors, Nike, and Rosetta Stone.

He’s an internationally recognized lecturer in Facebook Marketing and has spoken over 730 times in 17 countries, spanning 5 continents, including keynotes at L2E, PubCon, Conversion Conference, Social Media Marketing World, Gultaggen, and Marketo Summit.

Dennis has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, LA Times, National Public Radio, TechCrunch, Fox News, CNN, CBS Evening News and co-authored “Facebook Nation” – a textbook taught in over 700 colleges and universities.

He’s a regular contributor to Adweek’s SocialTimes column and is published in Social Media Examiner, Social Media Club, Tweak Your Biz, B2C, SocialFresh, and Heyo.

Dennis has held leadership positions at Yahoo! and American Airlines and studied Finance and Economics at Southern Methodist University and London School of Economics. He ran collegiate cross-country at SMU and has competed in over 20 marathons including a 70-mile ultramarathon.

He was ranked as the number one speaker of the conference at the PPC Caesar’s Award 2018.
